I've read all 27 of the Hunt-US Marshall series and I'm through 7 on the storm warrior series. I like this author. I like his writing and I enjoy the characters. On to the next one!
WLC has penned the (7Th) novel in the Storm Warrior Series, which includes the trip from Denver to Philadelphia. He assumes control if a construction and his wife assumes control of the bank. Storm Warrior, Hunt and Charles travel to Atlanta and Savannah. They check out two construction areas and frees the slaves. This is an excellent read for the genre.....ER
If you have read any of this series you know by now that most of these tell the same stories several times in the same book and they are the same ones you have read in previous books. In this one Charles visits three different railroad camps and the same story is told at each camp. I almost have it memorized by now. Also the story or how he came to America and was found is told two or three times again. Same story as in previous books. If you can stand the repeats of all the same things in each book and just skim through them some of the rest of the read makes a pretty fair story. If people were treated like Charles treats people our world would be a better place today. He finally is on a ship to England. I am guessing the same stories will appear in the next book also. But, that is just a guess. If you like reading the same things in each book and many times in the same book then hope on board for England and get book eight. We will see what we will see.
All Storm Worrior books read the same
I enjoy WL Cox books. They are becoming a little redundant. The treatment of the slaves should be an example of the way workers should be treated today and the pride workers should take in their work.
Read on 5-3-18 was a very good Book, only took 2 days to read it.
Storm Warrior, is a man of many talents. His ability to recognize danger and see into the hearts of man affords him the ability to recognise friend or foe instantly. The best friend a person could have or his worst enemy. His judgment and business sense endures him to many. Just over the next hill or around the next curve is another great adventure. Now, on to SW VIII.
